VersaSense IoT Fabric Now Supports Thousands Of Sensors

IoT Sensor Company of the Year Transforms Industrial Assets in to Data Streams

LEUVEN, Belgium, Mar. 7th, 2018 – VersaSense, today announced that the VersaSense IoT Fabric now supports thousands of commercially available sensors and actuators.

Sensors and actuators are at the heart of the Industrial IoT market, producing the data required to feed analytics engines and intelligent manufacturing applications. The VersaSense plug-and-play sensor design helps deliver an IoT fabric that empowers customers to connect in a reliable and secure way, quicker and easier than ever before.

The VersaSense portfolio includes a basic set of some forty plug & play sensors, from temperature and humidity sensors to pH and O2 sensors. The VersaSense IoT Fabric also supports an expanding set of standard sensing interfaces, allowing customers to seamlessly connect thousands of commercially available sensors. Furthermore, if a specific application or industrial environment requires a specialty sensor, integration of such sensor into the VersaSense IoT Fabric can be achieved in just a couple of days through our Sensing Integration service.

“The VersaSense IoT Fabric provides the asset to edge connectivity critical to making the vision of Industry 4.0 a reality,” said Dr. Nelson Matthys, CEO at VersaSense. “Supporting thousands of sensors downstream and connecting to all major IoT analytics platform upstream, allows our customers to IoT-enable their plants in a matter of days.”
